X-Mas Event

GTC CHRISTMAS 2 DAY EVENT
The Elves have revolted! They are sick and tired of the long hours, sleepless nights, & working around the clock 364 days out of the year! They have made a list of demands and taken Mrs. Clause Hostage.

It will be your job to help Santa rescue Mrs. Clause before Christmas. You will have to fight your way through Santa’s Workshop solving puzzles & finding clues left by the disgruntled Elves. Santa will arm you with a UTM gun & help you navigate his Workshop to save Mrs. Clause. 

Sat. 22nd from 9am - 10pm & Sun. 23rd from 9 am - 6 pm. Call now to schedule your time slot before they are all gone. Seriously our Holiday Events Sell Out Fast. The cost is $30 by yourself & $50 to go with a partner. Cost includes all equipment needed, we can record the event using your phone, & after action photos with the Elves, Santa, & Mrs. Clause
 

Shooting & Moving Course

DESCRIPTION: ANY WEAPON SYSTEM on barricades & alt. positions. you will learn how to fire from cover & concealment

TOPICS COVERED: Terminal Ballistics, Proper Use of Cover & Concealment, Alternate Positions: Standing, Kneeling, Squatting, BBM, Urban Prone, Prone, Supine, and more... (If you have issues with some position we will focus on what you can do)

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Any firearm in Excellent functional condition, 500 rounds (No green tip, penetrators, steel cased or incendiary rounds.), For Carbines & Shotguns: 6 Magazines, & Serviceable Sling, Mag pouches, and or Dump Pouch. For Pistols: 6 magazines and holster (No Serpas)

​​​​​Tactical Bay Group Courses of fire were designed to teach shooters of all skill levels. Our Coaches and Instructors slow down and speed up each drill based on your needs.  These Courses of Fire are held Monday through Friday night on the hour each hour from 6 pm to 10 pm.  Gold members receive this training as part of their membership and receive priority seating. Walk-Ins can participate each night for $30 an hour after passing the onetime safety orientation which covers safety procedures and confirms you can draw a firearm safely. Please call and schedule the safety orientation with one of our Range Safety Officers.

PISTOL 1 - Video

DESCRIPTION:  Basic introduction to safety, handling, & accuracy with a pistol/ revolver.
$149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  Safety & handling your firearm, Anticipation, Milking, Trigger reset (marksmanship vs speed/stress), -Standard response drills

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Modern serviceable pistol/revolver in good working condition,  Minimum 350 rounds, Eye protection & hearing protection, Firearm must be in a proper case, bag, or holstered on your body, (trigger guard must be covered), Recommended note taking gear & an open mind.

Home Defense Scenarios

DESCRIPTION:  Our Home Defense Scenarios Course will take place in our modular shoot house for a ​hands-on experience to help mentally & physically prepare you with actual scenarios. You will be using UTM training weapons & ammo to get the most realistic experience available. $225 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)
TOPICS COVERED: 
Weapon location, Storage & relation to you in the home, How to get the weapon in the fight, Barricade or escape, How to move from one room to another in the home
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: 
Layered Clothing, No exposed skin, An open mind & positive attitude, & UTM Training Equipment (Firearm, Ammo and Protective Gear) is included in the cost and provided by GTC

PISTOL 3 - Video

DESCRIPTION:  Pistol 3 will cover your basic ready positions, mechanics of the draw from the holster. While also balancing your speed & accuracy.
$149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  Ready Positions, Presentation To Target, Drawing From The Holster, Balancing Speed & Accuracy

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Modern serviceable pistol/revolver in good working condition, Minimum 400 rounds, Eye protection & hearing protection, Firearm must be in a proper case, bag, or holstered on your body ( trigger guard must be covered)

PISTOL 4 - Video

DESCRIPTION:  This is where we focus on pure speed from concealment.
$149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  - Ego vs. Reality, Probability Vs. Possibility, Pros & Cons of carrying Positions, Considerations for Clothing Types

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: - 300 rounds,3 Magazines, Suggested 5 Different Garments (1 Heavy Shirt,1 Light Shirt,1 Heavy Split Faced Garment/Jacket, 1 Light Split Faced Garment, 1 Hoodie) or any/all types of clothing you regularly wear.

DESCRIPTION:  Pistol 5 touches on all the previous courses before but adds movement.
$149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED: Getting off the X, Pivots & Turns, Shooting on the Move (Forward, Backward,& Lateral), Box Drills (Shooting Around Objects), Confidence Drills

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: 500 rounds (no green tip, penetrators, steel cased or incendiary rounds.), 5 magazines, Mag pouches & or dump pouch, An open mind & a positive attitude

DESCRIPTION: An introductory class focusing on setting up your Carbine for use and building a foundation for basic weapon manipulations. $149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED: Setting up your Rifle for your intended use, Understanding your Zero & Building a Basic Shooting Position, Utilizing Ready Positions, Standard Response Drills & Driving the Weapon, Emergency & Tactical Reloads

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:- Rifle in good functional condition, 450 rounds (NO GREEN TIP OR STEEL CASED),  6 Magazines, Serviceable Sling, Pouches, Belt or Rig for magazines

Carbine 2 - Video

DESCRIPTION: Carbine 2 teaches you to keep the weapon up and running by correcting malfunctions under stress.
 $149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED: How to keep the weapon in the fight, Immediate & Remedial Action Drills ( malfunction drills), Getting off the X, Pivots & Turns

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: A zeroed modern Carbine in excellent functional condition, 600 rounds (no green tip, penetrators, steel cased or incendiary rounds.), 6 magazines & serviceable sling, Mag pouches & or dump pouch, An open mind & a positive attitude

DESCRIPTION: A Course designed to allow you to learn to transition from your carbine or shotgun into your pistol. This Course will have movement.
$149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED: Transitioning from Carbines/Shotguns to a Pistol 
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Modern Carbine, Pistol, & or Shotgun in excellent functional condition, For Carbine 500 rounds (NO GREEN TIP OR STEEL CASED), For Shotgun 200 rounds (50% OO Buckshot, 50% Slug, Low Recoiling Rounds recommended. No Birdshot or Steel), For PISTOLS- NON-Kydex or injection molded holsters must be approved by the instructor, No Serpa Holster, Serviceable Sling for shotgun or carbine

SHOTGUN 1 - Video

DESCRIPTION: An introductory course focused on adjusting your shotgun for home defense $149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  Understanding your Ammo, Slug Zero, and Shot Patterning, Utilizing Ready Positions, Standard Response Drills & Driving the Weapon, Emergency & Tactical Reloads, Testing Alternate Shotguns, Equipment, and Lasers

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:- Shotgun in good functional condition,  Serviceable Sling & Dump Pouch, 150 / 200 rounds total. (10 rounds of flight control, Remaining 50% Slug & 50% 00 Buck. Suggest Low Recoil, No Other rounds will be allowed such as Birdshot or Steel)

DESCRIPTION: Defensive Shotgun II teaches you to keep the weapon up and running $149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  - Methods for Emergency Reloads, Immediate & Remedial Action Drills, Ammunition Changeovers, Stress Drills & Methods to Practice

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:- Serviceable Sling & Dump Pouch, Shell Carriers, Belt, Rig or other means for carrying extra shells on body, 150-200 rounds (50% OO Buckshot, 50% Slug, Low Recoiling Rounds recommended. No Birdshot or Steel)

DESCRIPTION: Defensive Shotgun III introduces you to Dynamic Movement $149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  Getting off the X, Pivots & Turns, Shooting while moving (Forward, Backward & Laterally), Box Drills (shooting and moving around obstacles), Stress & Confidence Drills, Use of our Custom 3D Targets, Equipment, and Lasers

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Serviceable Sling & Dump Pouch, Shell Carriers, Belt, Rig or other
means for carrying extra shells on the body, 400 rounds (50% OO Buckshot, 50% Slug, No Birdshot or Steel)

FORCE ON FORCE 1 - Video

DESCRIPTION:  This is a Force on Force Course using Non-Lethal UTM Firearms & Ammunition. You will be placed in actual gunfights using UTM training equipment that makes your experience as real as it gets.
$225 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED:  The Tueller Drill, Understanding distance & time to your adversary, Knowing when to move vs when to draw, When & when not to get the gun into the fight

KNIFE DEFENSE 

DESCRIPTION:  How to access your own weapon system when dealing with an adversary up close. $225 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

TOPICS COVERED: Using UTM Non-Lethal Force On Force Equipment, Understanding distance & time, Managing a known contact with a knife, When to access your own weapon vs stopping your adversary’s weapon, Pressure tested through Scenario-based firearms

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: -Layered Clothing as desired (No exposed skin allowed), An open mind & positive attitude, UTM Training Equipment (Firearm, Ammo and Protective Gear) is included in the cost and provided by GTC

TOPICS COVERED:  Mental Preparation for a Home Invasion, Awareness, Developing a Plan, Physical Preparation for a Home Invasion, Choosing Weapons, Choosing Storage Devises, Choosing Storage Locations, Use of Cell Phones in Home Defense, Understanding Entranceways and Doorways, Understanding Furniture and Layouts, Understanding Control Points and Cover & Concealment, Actual Scenarios against Intruders using UTM training Weapons & Ammo, Testing Weapon Access Locations, Testing Furniture Layouts, Testing Different Plans of Action, Handling Stress under a Home Invasion, Winning the fight against an Actual Intruder

SHOOTHOUSE COF - Video

DESCRIPTION:  
SHOOT HOUSE COURSE OF FIRE! This Sunday! ALL DAY! - 11/04/18 This COF will allow you to go through our shoothouse with one of our coaches That will give you a small insight into clearing rooms, making decisions, & engaging targets. You can sign up and register for a 30-minute time slot or Walk-ins for any available times each 30-minute slot is $15. Call Us Today!

SENSORY OVERLOAD - Video

DESCRIPTION:  
Sensory Overload This Sunday! 11/04/18 from 2pm to 6pm, we will be hosting our Sensory Overload course of fire featuring Action Target Pop-Ups. It will be 50 rounds in 2 minutes, shoot for fun or for a score. Middle score wins a free 1.5 hr lesson with one of our Tier 1 Coaches. Bring a friend or someone special and shoot as a team. $10 for Members/Pair and $15 for Non-Members/Pair.

Defensive Spray - Video

DESCRIPTION: You will learn the differences, pros and cons between the vast selections of defensive sprays. Our Coaches will then show you how to actually deploy the sprays in an effective manner. This is a hands-on course that uses Training Sprays, pressurized water in the same canisters as the actual carry spray. This gives you the most realistic training available.
$100 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students)

LADIES' NIGHT

DESCRIPTION: LADIES' NIGHT IS FINALLY HERE! Call To Find Out More!
A night designed for women taught by women. We are hosting ladies’ night lead by our female instructors. The first hour will consist of basic introduction to safety, handling, & accuracy with firearms. The second hour will be an introduction to dynamic shooting. 

Topics Covered: Safety & handling your firearm, Improving accuracy, Standard response drills, Shooting on the Move, & Confidence Drills.

Equipment Needed: Modern serviceable firearm in good working condition, Minimum 200 rounds, Eye protection & hearing protection, Firearm must be in a proper case, bag, or holstered. If you do not own any of the equipment above it will be available to rent from GTC.
